Kelantan Mentri Besar Nik Aziz conscious, but weak after heart attack

PETALING JAYA: Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat is "conscious but still very weak" after suffering a heart attack on Thursday morning, state Finance and Public Administration exco member Husam Musa said.
Husam, who saw Nik Aziz at the Perdana Specialist Hospital's intensive care unit, in Kota Baru, said his condition had improved slightly.

"The doctors are considering a heart surgery for Tok Guru (as Nik Aziz is fondly called) in the next two days, after his condition stabilises" he said in a telephone interview.
This was the first time the 72-year-old mursyidul aam, or spiritual leader of PAS, had a heart attack.
Husam said all members of Nik Aziz's family were at his bedside except his son, Nik Adli, who was in detention in Kamunting, Perak.
He said well wishers should pray for Nik Aziz's full recovery
